- HARBOTTLE HOLYSTONE GRANGE NT 90 SE 21/83 Holystone Grange GV II House. Early C19 and 1897. Later parts by and for F.W. Rich. Ashlar with Welsh and Lakeland slate roofs. 2 storeys, 6 bays. 3-bay early C19 section to right with later additions to left and rear, forming large irregular-plan house. Additions are in Tudor style. Earlier part has central glazed door in conservatory, flanked by 2-storey canted bay windows with 16-pane sashes. Later section has large mullioned-and-transomed windows with small leaded panes. Roofs: older parts have plain parapet and gabled roofs. Later parts have 2 cross gables above garden front and irregular gabled roofs elsewhere. Many tall corniced stacks. ,
