- HARBOTTLE HOLYSTONE NT 90 SE 21/77 Mill House (The Kennels) GV II Former mill, now house. Medieval and C19. Squared stone and Welsh slate roof. The lower storey is built entirely of C13 or C14 masonry, whether in situ or removed from Holystone nunnery uncertain. 2 storeys, 3 bays with single-storey, 1-bay extension at right. C20 central porch has parts of two C14 gravecovers built into it. 4-pane sash windows. Kitchen window, in single-storey section to right, has re-used C14 windowhead with cusping, and the base of a 2-light window re-used as the sill. Gabled roof with flat coping and corniced end stacks. Rear wallis largely solid medieval masonry. Roof timbers where exposed seem C18. ,
