Cut sandstone. Life-size robed bearded figure, standing beside entrance to natural cave formed by slipping of sandstone cliff face. Similar statues in the ruins of Hulne Friary (q.v.) are part of the 'improvements' of c.1770-80 by Lancelot Brown. ,
