- DENWICK HULNE PARK NU 11 SE 10/70 Moor Lodge and attached screen 31.12.69 wall II Lodge and screen wall 1770-80, possibly by Bell of Durham. Lodge ashlar, wall squared stone; Welsh slate roof. Gothick style. 1 storey, 3 bays, symmetrical. Chamfered plinth. Slightly-projecting centre has flush-panelled door, with intersecting glazing bars in fanlight, in moulded pointed arch; pedimented gable with Percy crescent and embattled cresting. Flanking bays have 12-pane sash windows, the upper leaves with intersecting glazing bars and trefoiled corner panes, under hoodmoulds with block stops carved with crescent. Parapet with blank quatrefoils. Hipped roof with corniced stack to left. Right return 4 irregular bays; left-of-centre projecting bay with paired 8-pane sashes, and embattled cresting, flanked by blind pointed windows, with 12-pane sash to right; similar Gothick sashes, hoodmoulds and parapet. Screen wall to left is curved back and descends in height; slightly-arched coping. Information on date and possible architect from Dr. Shrimpton, Estate Archivist. ,
