AD 122, reconstructed AD 205. Rubble core with dressed stone faces. Course of wall runs west from Milking Gap (NY 771679) to near Lodhams Slack (NY 737673). Several stretches of well-preserved, c.l.5-metre high wall masonry. Remains of milecastle 39. Sites only of milecastle 40 and turrets. Scheduled Ancient Monument. ,
