Tree preservation order: Brookesby Hall, Hesketh Road, Torquay, Devon 2014.002
Brookesby Hall, Hesketh Road, Torquay, Devon 2014.002
- notes
- T1 is an early mature Black Pine tree of good form and vigour serving to provide appropriate succession tree cover reinforcing the local wooded character of historic Pine trees. T1 bears strong potential to emerge into the wider landscape thereby preserving and enhancing the character and appearance of the Lincombes Conservation Area. T1 demonstrates good health, form and vigour and bears significant potential to become an important component feature within the wooded landscape as it further matures. T1 is likely to have been purposefully planted during the redevelopment of the apartment block from its former commercial use to satisfy a planning condition and as such serves to integrate the property into the historic landscape setting.
