notes: Garden wall and gate. Probably mid C19. Stone rubble wall with coping of stones on edge, alternately short and tall. At the front, facing Greenswood Road, is a gate with surround of large squared blocks, red sandstone alternating with Devonian limestone. Pointed arch with incurving sides, matching those of Eveleigh House (qv); plain hoodmould with shaped cap. The jambs of the gateway rise above the arch to form square piers; that on left (overgrown) appears to have a flat stone cap. Plank door, its top shaped to match the curve of the arch.
