- EDLINGHAM ALNWICK MOOR NU 11 SW NU 13861065 to NU 137410Q0 9/99 10 boundary stones on boundary with Alnwick C.P. II 10 boundary stones, C18 or early C19. Cut sandstone. Rectangular pillars with arched, segmental or gabled tops, 0.70 to 1.05 metre high. All have N incised letters A.M on east (Duke of Northumberland. Alnwick Moor); on the 3 southern stones the 'A.M' is in a sunk rectangular panel; P (Pawson) on west. The stone at NU 13741QOQ is not shown on the current O.S. map. Alnwick Moor was the scene of a series of land disputes between the Duke and the Freemen of Alnwick in the C18. ,
