- EGLINGHAM MIDDLE MOOR NU 12 SW NU 14642405 to NU 12722435 9 boundary stones 2/178 on boundary with Ellingham C.P. II 9 boundary stones, probably c.1755. Sandstone. Rectangular pillars with chamfered angles and tops, from 0.50 to 0.90 metre high except for small stone only 0.15 metre high at NU 13252424. All have incised letters CH (Carnaby Haggerston) on north and I C (John Cay) on south. Sir Carnaby Haggerston held the manor of Ellingham 1740-56 whilst John Cay held North Charlton 1754-82; the stones mark the boundary between these townships. ,
