- FELTON FELTON PARK NU 10 SE 6/108 Longfield Cottage II Shelter shed with accommodation for groom over. Early C19, converted to dwelling in early C20. Tooled square stone; Welsh slate roof with brick stack. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Segmental arcade, now filled with boarded door between side lights, in right bay and small-paned windows in other bays. 2-pane casement flanked by 4-pane Yorkshire sashes above. Hipped roof with central ridge stack. 1st floor 12-pane Yorkshire sash on left return. Probably built for the Riddell family's well-known racehorses, such as Doctor Syntax, pastured here in the early C19. Wood porch and added brick rear outshut are not of special interest. ,
