- Dated 1827. Mill of smock type converted into a house. Roundhouse painted brick, above tarred weather-boarding now covered with bitumastic. The roundhouse has been enlarged to serve as part of the dwelling. Octagonal pointed cap with wooden platform round it. Sweeps & fantail missing. Modern windows. No machinery inside. John Ireland, composer, formerly lived here.
